EDUCATION
The right of education for everyone is extremely important for WMMI. We are making efforts to help educate people by conducting adult literacy programs, short courses, and primary education for kids. WMMI is also anticipating starting a vocational institute that would allow people an opportunity to learn everyday skills.
The Purpose of Education
Pakistan ranks very low in the international literacy tables. There are many areas where the local illiteracy rate can be up to 75 percent. The way our world is advancing so rapidly makes it necessary for everyone to have access to basic education at least. People are constrained to living in terrible conditions because of the lack of education. They do not see themselves as worthy enough to live prestigious and comfortable lives. Many women in rural areas have cultural restrictions and responsibilities. Therefore, it is harder for them to even think about being educated. So, we are joining hands with PGA Ministry to support them in their effort to bring literacy into many rural areas.
